Administrative director with accounting responsibilities
Job Description
Overall office management
- Supports CEO – North America in all administrative tasks
- Prepares and negotiates studies budgets along with CEO – North America
- Manages the monitoring calendar, plan visits and maximize CRA time in a cost-effective manner
- Manages studies tracker such as: contract, insurance certificate, mandate, visits, reports, billing, etc.
- Liaises between the CRAs, CROs, and clients to gather and distribute information
- Supports on Human Resources matters, welcomes new employees
- Training of all new employees on the company’s administrative procedures
- Supervises and manages the work of the accounting department to ensure that all bank reconciliations and journal entries are accurate
- Supervises and manages the work of the accounting department to ensure all purchases and payments are made in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitors the status of all accounts receivable and implement any corrective actions as deemed necessary
- Reviews on a weekly basis all employee working hours as well as their expenses prior to transfer to the accounting department
- Develops and manages central filing system including archives and studies files
- Supports on Quality Assurance matter s along with QA
Profile
- Accounting technical training
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal efficiently with people with different personalities and at various organizational level
- Ability to resolve problem regarding planning clinical studies
- Diplomatic, mature, team player, flexible, crisis manager, has good business sense
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting software, Microsoft Excel and Word
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Administration or equivalent
- Technical traning in accounting + 5 years of management
- Interest in being involve in managing in CA and USA
- Must have the capacity to work in French and in English
Other information
This could be 5 days or 4 days a week position. Candidate has to be in the office 2 days/week.
